Costs

Minimum hire period is 5 days. €40.00   Hire period 1 to 18 days - daily rate. €8.00   Thereafter - daily rate. €7.50

Optional External GPS Antenna (necessary for Heated/Athermic Windscreens).

* All prices quoted above are inclusive of VAT @ 21%.

Deposit Payment

Payment of hire charges is via deposit.  The deposit is payable by cheque, cash or credit card.  Once the GPS equipment is returned to us at the end of the hire period we deduct the hire charges and refund the difference to you.

If you plan to collect & return the GPS to us.

Our premises are based in Sandyford, Co. Dublin.  For directions click here. Collection.  Between 10am and 6pm on the first day of the hire period.  If you need the unit for a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday you will have to book it for collection/delivery on the Friday. Return.  Between 10:00am and 6:00pm on the last day of the hire period.  Returns are only possible during weekdays excluding public holidays.  Late returns will be charged at €10.00 (+ vat @ 21%) per day or part thereof.

If you want us to deliver & collect the GPS from you.

Postal/courier charges are separate to the hire charges.  While we make a small charge for the packaging materials, An Post and the courier charges are at cost therefore there is nothing we can do about these.

Other things you need to know

Booking.  Reserve the GPS equipment at least 2 weeks in advance. Early hire.  Hire the GPS at least 1 day before your trip commences in order to familiarise yourself with it.  You will also have time to plan your journey and stop-overs. Insurance.  From the moment that the GPS is delivered to you, to the moment that is is returned to our premises, you are fully responsible for the equipment.   We strongly recommend, and for your own piece of mind, that you insure the GPS equipment against all risks for a value up to €750.00.   Your travel insurance, current car or house insurance may provide the necessary cover but you should confirm this with your insurers before hiring the equipment. Refund Policy.  When you hire one of our GPS systems we want you to be completely satisfied.  If, for any reason, you are not happy with it it and return it to us within 48 hours we will refund your money in full.  Furthermore, you may cancel your booking with just 7 working days notice for a full refund.
