Please visit our new web site, www.mypois.ie, which is dedicated to points of interest around the island of Ireland.
We have
1,000s of extra POIs across several different categories and many of these are free to download to compatible satellite navigation devices. This is a great way to 'localise' and enhance
your GPS with POIs that do not come as standard on the device.
POI databases include comprehensive Hotel, Restaurants and Pub databases, Post Offices, Garda Stations, Bank Branches and ATM locations,
Pharmacies, Schools, Churches, Camping Sites, Industrial Estates and many, many more.
If you already own a portable GPS satellite navigation system why not make use of our
Points of Interest(POIs) database.
Ireland
Here you will find a number of lists containing points of interest throughout the island of Ireland.
As the service is NEW please give us time to build up the database.
The files are zipped and typically contain two files. The first is a
.CSV containing the POIs, the second is a .BMP used to identify the POI on the GPS device.
This format allows you to easily download the POIs to a number of GPS navigators such
as the Garmin range.
Europe and Beyond
If your travels take you further afield there are extensive POIs from around the world available
from the excellent web site www.pocketgps.co.uk.
Submitting your own POI's
We welcome submissions from anyone interested in adding to our POIs database for Ireland.
If you would like to submit your own POI groups for inclusion please send us an
email and we will add them.

While every attempt is made to verify the coordinates supplied in these listings it is evitable that there
will be inaccuracies. If you do come across incorrect data please email
us with the correct information so that we can update our database.
